What is "Hand Tools" ?????? -----
Definition:-
Hand Tools- Hand tools the word is made with the combination of two words i.e. HAND + TOOLS; So, In simple language the Tools which are used by Hand itself in workshop or shop floor is termed as "Hand Tools". These tools are very easy to use manually by hands.
Examples of Hand tools- CHISEL, HAMMER,C-CLAMPS, FILES Etc. show below in pic.

- MEASURING HAND TOOLS
- MARKING HAND TOOLS
- TESTING HAND TOOLS
- HOLDING HAND TOOLS
- DRIVING HAND TOOLS
- PORTABLE POWER HAND TOOLS
- CUTTING HAND TOOLS
1. MEASURING HAND TOOLS:-
This type of Hand tools are used for measurement of the workpieces in the shop floor, we can maintain the the given givens by measuring workpieces with the help of Measuring instruments.
Examples:- Vernier Caliper, Steel Rule, Micrometer Etc.

2- MARKING HAND TOOLS:-
This type of Hand Tools are used to mark of the workpiece for machining or identifications of the workpiece.
Example:- Scriber , Centre Punch, Number punch, Letter punch Etc.
Marking hand Tools
3- TESTING HAND TOOLS: -
This type of Hand Tools are used to Verify the given parameters, And it helps to place or set the Workpiece in the right manner and position required.
Examples:- Tri Square, Spirit Level Etc.
Testing Hand Tools
4- HOLDING HAND TOOLS:-
This Type of Hand Tools are used to Hold the workpiece on which we have to work. It helps to hold the workpiece very firmly and accurately.
Examples- Bench Vice, Hand Vice, Plier Etc.
Holding tools
5- DRIVING HAND TOOLS;-
This type of Hand Tools are used to striking on the workpiece, so it is also called striking tools.
Examples:- Hammers etc.
Driving or Striking Tools
6- PORTABLE POWER HAND TOOLS;-
This types of Hand Tools are Electric operated which makes work very easy, and these tools are easy to handle.
Examples:- Disc Grinder, Hand drill Machine Etc.
Power tools
7-CUTTING HAND TOOLS-
These types of Hand Tools are use to remove the material or cut the workpiece Manually,
Examples:- Chisel , Hand Hacksaw , Sheet Cutting Plier Etc.
